While the cake was in the oven, we experimented with fondant. Brima's rolling pin was missing. We needed to think quick and improvise! Lets beat it with spoons.
Look how nice and smooth that fondant is! Perfect.. or is it? Didn't we want to dye the fondant instead of keeping it boring white? Oh, right..
You can't tell much here, but the cake was extremely puffy. Extremely. We had to cut the whole, top part of it off so it'd be flat for our cake. Turns out the inside of the cake wasn't completely baked.
Puzzle. We're awesome at puzzles. This was the top layer of the cake. Funfetti. Because funfetti is fun.As you can see.. we had some difficulties with this layer of cake as well. See that hole in the middle? That was, once again, not baked. Instead of fighting with the oven, we cut that part out, and stuck in a cupcake. Two cupcakes, actually. We figured the pan was too small for all the batter anyway.
Since my mom likes cows (a lot.) we decided to make green grass and little cows on top. This cow is purpleyblack with green spots. :3
